If you have a dispute about your right to a prize or portion of an Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation ( OLG ) lottery prize over $10,000, you may apply to have the dispute resolved through arbitration at the AGCO . Alternately, you can start a proceeding in the Ontario courts.

For more information on the general, procedural and administrative matters that apply to the arbitration of a lottery dispute, please review the Rules of Procedure for Arbitration of Lottery Disputes. Costs of the arbitration are the responsibility of the participants.

Multiple Lottery Tickets Are About To Expire In Ontario & You Could Be Missing Out On $1M

Time to double-check your numbers.

It’s time to start digging out those old and forgotten tickets.

According to OLG, several unclaimed Ontario lottery tickets are about to expire and the prizes are jaw-dropping.

Eight prizes ranging from $10,000 to $1,000,000 are set to become void in January and February.

Most of the tickets were purchased within the GTA.

A ticket was sold in Markham for $10,000 on February 7, 2020, followed by another in Toronto’s west-end worth $100,000 on the 25th.

Two winning tickets for $500,000 and $10,000 were also sold in Ottawa back in January.

Last month, residents of Mississauga were warned to check their pockets after a lottery ticket worth $1 million went unclaimed.

The prize money remains uncollected.

OLG lottery tickets expire 12 months after their reported draw dates.

So, if you’ve got an unchecked Lotto Max ticket lying around, double-check those numbers!
